Peggy Kinnane's Irish Restaurant & Pub - Terrible Management & Customer Service

I used to frequent Peggy's. However, my boyfriend and I went there and both our orders were prepared wrong, even though we went over it with the waiter twice. That aside, my bf's meal came out and 20 min later, he is done with his and I am told mine is still cooking. I sought out the manager who actually was the owner and very politely & professionally asked a) when my order would be up & b) if he could please remove the charge from our bill, as my bf had already finished his food. The owner immediately raised his voice at me, told me that's his decision to make

Shaw's Crab House - Best Seafood Restaurant in Chicago!

July 25, 2009 My wife and I dined at Shaw’s Crab House on Sat night, and it was fantastic. We have eaten out at a lot of restaurants, and we can honestly say that Shaw’s (either Chicago or Schaumburg) still has it going on, and is top of our list for consistent, quality seafood and shellfish. The food is always prepared right, with great service, and the dining room is comfortable, where you can relax and enjoy your meal. Here was our dinner/all worthy selections: Start with their hand-shucked dozen assortment of oysters (Chicago Magazine just voted “the best” oysters), then their famous jumbo lump crabmeat crabcake (North Shore magazine voted “best crabcake”), then their wonderful Lobster Bisque soup, then split an order of their steamed Alaskan King Crab legs with side of melted butter, then try the in-season special, three delicious soft shell crabs sautéed in lemon, garlic butter, all with great veggie sides, and end it all with Key Lime Pie and Homers Peppermint Ice Cream with Hot Fudge sauce. Hot Intelligentsia coffee drinks and specialty tea capped it all off, and we were very happy. Shaw’s has the seafood dining experience down to a perfect science.

Tac Quick - Last Chance Given and Failed

While a TAC Quick guest in the past, I tolerated the staff’s poor attitude and dining room service in order to enjoy good Thai food. Last night though, I decided to try a different approach – delivery. Good food without disappointing human interaction was what I thought I would get. However, I received a cold, dry block of rice noodles with meager pad thai accoutrements, rubbery, greasy pot stickers and an apathetic response to my request that TAC Quick correct the substandard food they served me.

Dragon Inn North - The worst

Like many Chinese food lovers, Chinese food can be considered a staple after a long day at work. I ordered Chicken Lo Main, which those who have had it know the noodle is long and round like spaghetti, but much thicker. They served us boiled chicken on top of Ramen noodles, that’s right, Ramen (little, thin and cheap) noodles. Next, we ordered General Tso’s Chicken. This is a much spicier and saucier chicken. It came out just like Sesame Chicken…

Woo Chon Restaurant - Best in Chicago.

Out of the many Korean restaurants that I have been to, this is probably the best that I've ever visited. Woo Chon simply cannot be compared to the other Korean restaurants in the Chicago area; it is truly amazing. For what I've paid, I got far more than I expected. The food is great in quality, not just quantity. The service is very nice; the waitress kindly recommended some dishes to try. As a non-Korean, I would have to recommend this to anyone from anywhere; you have to try the food at Woo Chon.
