Unbelievably Poor Service

I took my husband to brunch for his birthday thinking brunch and The Del would be something special. It was memorable, as the worst brunch experience, ever! After being seated we went to get a plate of food, came back to our table to find that another couple had been seated there, despite having left some of our belongings at the table. The wait staff seemed completely overwhelmed by this problem and left us standing there with plates of food and went about their business. We finally just found an empty table and seated ourselves. Things did not improve. We had to practically beg to get a refill on beverages, be it water, coffee or champagne. Plates were not removed from the table and to cap it off, the waitress brought the check partway through the meal and told us we had to pay then as she didn't want to take the chance that we would leave without paying. Needless to say, we will never dine at the Del again. And will be very careful never to confuse price with quality.
