I stopped in to load up for the superbowl game. I bought BBQ ham and pork ribs for the gang to eat on. Only about 6 people were in line. They bought mostly the the terrific meal plates to eat right in the restaurant. The lady in front of me bought a bowl of split pea soup as a mid-afternoon snack. A carver is standing right in front of you cutting a portion for your selection. Jan runs the cash register. She is an authentic sweet heart. On the wall are pictures going back to the 40's showing the family progression into the current location. They serve several wonderful inexpensive meal plates. The quality selection of meats are cooked on site with loving care. Of course the staff is all very proud to serve you. Great place.
