"When we go back (and I am sure we will) there are some interesting-sounding dishes I want to try, such as the Udon with Pork Belly, Fried egg and Smoky Miso, the Red Curry with Short Ribs and Pumpkin, and the Strawberry Cinnamon Ribs. Mmmm.... ribs......"
"From dim sum to hot pot, the menu also draws on a wide range of Asian flavors and traditions. Flash-roasted edamame, slightly charred and tossed with sesame oil and sea salt, linger on the palate with a distinctive nutty flavor...."
"Eh. It was okay. I’ve read better things about it but we weren't overly impressed with what we had..."
"The extensive menu at Red Pearl Kitchen is great for individual or family-style dining. From a wide array of Dim Sum such as Shredded Duck Spring Rolls and Chicken-Ginger Potstickers to Salads like the Cold Sesame King Crab Soba Noodles, to Grilled Items..."
"Starting with the Dim Sum, definitely try the “Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Rolls” ($6). Chilled shrimp, mint, shredded lettuce and carrot is rolled up in a rice paper wrap and served with a spicy peanut dipping sauce...."
"With a menu emphasizing dishes to be shared, the hot chili-crusted calamari makes for a great starter, as do the crunchy Vietnamese egg rolls filled with pork. These leave you with just enough room for the traditional pad Thai or plate of pork belly (a mi..."

Shirahama Sushi & Japanese Restaurant - The shrimp was extremely good, shrimpy and tender, and the clam was well flavored, though it lacked the amazing texture of mirugai.

Kaito Sushi - The pickled ginger is pretty good, but the wasabi is truly outstanding. This is not your standard horseradish paste with food coloring. If you look closely, you can see the little bits of actual real wasabi root. That alone is almost worth the trip to Enc

25forty Bistro and Bakehouse - We started lunch with iced tea and water. The water, as always, is brought out in glasses and with a large chilled bottle for refills at will. The iced tea is a good, strong brew.

Rocky Port Grill and Fish Market - The Gobernador taco, a tortilla first 'lined' with melted cheese is then filled with a buttery saute of shrimp, bell pepper, onion and tomato...always a craving and at the regular price of $3.50, worth it...even a better deal on Tuesdays...

Lucky’s Breakfast - Man, this was better than I remembered....especially the hashbrowns which were nice and crisp on the exterior....it might be SYSCO potatoes, but if you do it right.......

Perry's Cafe - I really didn't feel like bacon or sausage, so on this day I went with two eggs, hamburger patty, hashbrowns, and toast($8).
