...but this place was just too damn loud for me. I went on a Friday night, and they were blasting music throughout the entire restaurant. The volume of the music was about as loud as a dance club. Everyone at the table had to scream at each other, and even then we couldn't hear each other too well.

So how was the food? Not bad for a wacky fusion sushi type place. The spring roll with lobster and cream cheese was slightly limp; it was tasty, but I couldn't really tell it was lobster, so what's the point? I really liked the salmon carpaccio, slices of salmon nestled in a mild wasabi oil.

We also the Viva Las Vegas roll, a deep-fried maki topped with spicy tuna, and a Pacific roll, filled with spicy albacore and jalapeno and avocado. They were good, but there might been too much going on with them.

Not a bad dinner, but I don't know if my eardrums can take another visit. (To be fair, I think they don't crank up the music all the time. Maybe it's just weekend dinners.)
