We just moved to the RB area and were looking for a Chinese restaurant and found Pearl via the web. No other references and didn't have time to read reviews.
We were seated by a tired looking, burned out woman but overcame that by the nice view of the pond from our table. Then another waiter accidentally brought us a pot of tea and immediately realized her mistake and when picking up the pot poured tea all over our table cloth without apology and only a shrug.
My husband and I waited and waited - 15 minutes went by and no water served, no one came to our table to say "just a moment" - nothing. We were completely ignored (along with another couple who had arrived about the same time AND a table full of people who had clearly finished up long ago and were waiting for their check).
We got up and walked out.
This place is terrible. I often wonder where owners of restaurants like this are or if they even care.
