The upper deck patio of Gelato Vero overlooks the airport. It's a nice, place to indulge your sweet tooth and watch the planes land. The texture of the gelato is dense, creamy, and gooey -- just the way I like it. It really coats the tongue and gives you a chance to enjoy the taste of the ice cream. I've enjoyed most of the flavors I've tried there. My favorites are the dark chocolate, which has a nice, deep, genuine chocolate taste, and the caramel and brownies. I read recently the founder of Gelato Vero had passed away. May he rest in peace and know that he has brought happiness in a gelato cup to many, many people.
