Although there is no happy hour or special promotions for this place, I would definitely go back. Its a small and cozy restaurant that¡¯s intimate and comfortable. The staff here are wonderfully attentive and accommodating. With cold saki, sushi, and hot food, I couldn¡¯t ask for more.

Gami Sushi Bad food and TERRIBLE customer service

I dined at this restaurant based on pics I saw on another website of the food. It proves that pictures do not tell the whole story.

I was excited to visit this sushi place since I love to eat sushi. My finance and I ate there for dinner. A sushi chef named Kim was incredibly rude to us. When we asked for a custom order he yelled that it was impossible. It was a simple substituion. When we offered to pay more he said yes, apparently money talks with him .

Basic customer service is not to be found at Gami Sushi.

Most employees are Korean and do not understand english well especially the sushi chef, Kim. The staff seems unhappy and unmotivated probably because of the manager which seemed to be the rude sushi chef Kim that barked orders out to them.

There were arguments between the cashier and waitresses. We heard the cashier tell the waitresses not to stand anywhere near the cash register. It seemed as if the cashier would interfere with the waitresses doing their jobs. This was very distracting which added to the lack of customer service and rude to the customers and waitresses. If I had to work in this type of work environment I would quit. Plus the dining room is quite small and we felt restricted.

Gami Sushi offers 50% off their sushi rolls but even at that price they are not worth it. I can make better rolls at home. Order hand rolls or sashmi if you go there. I think they make the rolls bad on purpose to get you to order the more expensive stuff. A very weird business model.

I recommend you do not sit at the sushi bar that was our mistake. The sushi chef Kim does not know what customer service is. If you do not care about customer service then why work as a sushi chef.

The only good thing I can say about this place is they had excellent miso soup.
