The service is always pleasant and the prices are very good (especially for Manhattan). Rude and humiliating Reviewed By globaltrotteur Dec 04, 2007 Tags: Avoid this place Having flown 3,500 miles for a Thanksgiving dinner with relatives, the last thing I expected was to be humiliated in front of my family about the size of the tip. After a mediocre turkey dinner (the turkey tasted like it came out of a tin) and not even the offer of coffee, the waiter brought my credit card slip back and harangued me, in front of my wife, brother in law and sister in law, because the tip was less than 17.5 per cent. (If I was a mathematician I'd be working for Goldman Sachs). I was humiliated and embarrassed by this man, who later admitted to my sister in law that he had been rude, but that he had only done it because "my boss gives me a hard time" if the tips are low. Avoid this place like the plague - it does no favours to the reputatation of New York. This totally spoiled my Thanksgiving. We will not be going back
